There are a great many things that might calm a troubled mind; some find comfort in a cup of coffee, or in a loved one’s company. And, though it might sound strange, others find it in emptiness, in nothing at all.

Noncorporeal Trembling Frequencies. In this project, using the enchanting water landscapes of the small Greek Island she grew up in to represent her chaotic and overflowing thoughts, Alexandra Sarah combines her images with a reverse poem of her own writing, creating a deeply personal mixed media work that is both comforting and warm, as well as dark and disturbing.

The beginning and the end, the meaning and the outcome of the project can vary, depending on where the viewer stands, and where they are heading to. For what is chaos to one, can be order to another. And, in some very exceptional few, it can be both at the same time.
